What is Simon’s Weather?

Simonsweather.com was created to serve the local community with accurate weather forecasts for Northwest Montana’s Lincoln and Sanders Counties and North Idaho’s Bonner and Boundary Counties, share my passion and knowledge of weather patterns, and clear up some common myths in what actually causes our weather in the Western US. 

         Most local weather forecasts are provided by either the National Weather Service or other private weather companies like Accuweather that are often not located anywhere near where you live, especially if you live in a remote or rural area like I do in the Northwest/Northern Rockies. A weather forecast for my region is likely to be more accurate and specific if provided by someone who actually lives where they are trying to forecast.
